Hotel D'angleterre Geneva

The Hotel d’Angleterre was fabulous from minute one. The service in the front of the house was absolutely fantastic. After a long day of travel and not feeling well, I was unanimated, but you couldn’t help brighten up. Because of a partnership with our travel agent we were upgraded to a completely gorgeous lake view junior suite. Completely spacious with separate shower rooms and a fantastic porch overlooking the Jet d’Eau. The absolute best bed I’ve slept in in Switzerland. I finally got a good night sleep! And the Concierge desk, particularly Nicholas, were so incredibly helpful booking exactly what both I and my friend were looking for. I was originally going to book the Four Seasons as they own my favorite hotel in the world, but I was so glad my agent directed me here. The location and view were preferable. Even dinner at Windows was fantastic when I decided to give lamb another try. Don’t hesitate to book here! A wonderful experience. And if you can, get a lake view room!

Had a fabulous stay and staff were fantastic. Extremely helpful particularly to my partner who arrived earlier that day from a long period of transit. Rooms were traditional and well kept. Breakfast was lovely with great service and options. The lady at concierge was impeccable at directions and recommendations while speaking in flawless english. the only issue was staff were quite suggestive of leaving a 5-10% tip on checkout in which I felt pressured to do and made the service appear less sincere.

The service here was amazing. I have gone to many 5⭐️ hotels and this was one of the few that made me feel so welcomed. Greeting my husband and I everyday by name and giving great service. When I asked for anything from housekeeping it was done within minutes. Unheard of. Service and food at the Windows restaurant was impeccable too. And compared to the other 5 ⭐️hotels in the neighbouring this was 1/2 the price. Location was perfect. We had an amazing views of the lake and within walking distance to everything and steps away from the boat which was included in our stay. Thank you everyone at L’Angleterre.
